Our Mission Statement

At Libra Children Services, our mission is to provide inclusive, compassionate, and professional support to children, young people, and families who may struggle to access mainstream services due to complex needs, including substance use, behavioural challenges, or other barriers that make engagement difficult. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and understanding.

We aim to bridge the gap between vulnerable families and professional support systems by:

Engaging creatively and flexibly with children and adults who may find traditional services intimidating or inaccessible.

Supporting positive relationships through structured, supervised contact that promotes trust, communication, and emotional wellbeing.

Recognising individual needs and tailoring our approach to each family, acknowledging that challenging behaviours often reflect deeper unmet needs.

Collaborating with professionals while advocating for families, ensuring that every voice is heard and every concern addressed.

Empowering families to build resilience, develop practical skills, and sustain meaningful connections in safe and supportive ways.

Our mission is underpinned by a belief that no child or family should be excluded from care, guidance, or opportunities to strengthen relationships. We are committed to removing barriers, fostering engagement, and providing professional support that makes a real difference in the lives of those who are often hardest to reach.
