We understand that contact can be emotionally complex especially when families have experienced separation, conflict, or trauma. That’s why our experienced team delivers contact in a child-centred, relationship focused way, offering gentle guidance, emotional support, and professional observation throughout. Sessions are held in agreed (risk assessed) community and centre based family friendly, neutral settings that promote natural interaction and reduce stress.
Our goal is to help children feel secure and supported while enabling parents to engage in meaningful, nurturing contact. We work closely with referrers, local authorities, and the courts to ensure all contact is delivered safely, transparently, and with therapeutic intent.
Pre Visits
We warmly encourage you to arrange a pre-visit to our centre before your formal contact session begins.
This is a relaxed opportunity for families and professionals to look around, meet our team, and talk through any questions. During the pre-visit, we can explain step-by-step how a contact session will run, what the space looks like, and the kind of support you can expect.
Where possible, we will also arrange for the member of our team who will be supporting your contact to be present, so you can get to know them in advance.
This helps children and adults alike feel more at ease, reduces any worries, and ensures everyone knows what to expect on the day. By taking this first step together, we can build confidence and create the foundation for a positive and supportive contact experience.
